WILL 2025 BE THE YEAR OF ‘MAXIREAL’?

16 JANUARY 2024 • FASHION • EXPERIENTIAL

From Kenzo to Van Cleef, Dior and more, florals were everywhere you looked in 2024—filling brand experiences with lush, Insta-worthy moments that screamed, “Look at me!”. The focus was all about creating those picture-perfect environments, with flowers adding a sensory punch to every activation.

We loved the whole floral theme, but there’s always a new trend on the horizon. In 2025, we’re predicting a shift towards ‘Maxireal’. So, if more florals are shown in 2025, expect them to be florals on steroids!

Minimalism? Nah, it’s time to leave that behind, especially for Gen Z. Think realness but to amped up the max with elements of nostalgia, and layers of textures that feel like they were made by hand. It’s all about that lived-in, imperfect vibe; real, messy, and all about connecting on a deeper level.

Plus, we predict we’re going to see a deeper merge of digital and physical worlds, with VR, AR, and interactive tech. Sure, photo booths will still be a thing, but this time, they’ll be less about polished Instagram shots and more about raw, genuine moments.
